Update - From our ongoing tests, this issue is still present in the latest iOS release (13.2.3). An upcoming iOS release is expected to resolve the error causing CallKit call history sync to fail on affected accounts. We will keep this incident updated with future changes.

Identified - We’ve seen a number of call sync failures stemming from iOS 13.1.2 and 13.2 devices, caused by an issue in iOS 13 affecting the devices’ ability to synchronise call data. As this is dependant on Apple’s own synchronisation mechanism, we have escalated this to them and a forthcoming iOS update will be required to resolve it.

Monitoring - We've completed the rollout for all clients' new end-users, and are liaising directly with clients on migration of existing end-users as we continue to monitor performance.

Update - We started rollout of a solution Fri 27th, and by yesterday had it scaled up to cover new end-users on most client accounts. We expect to fully deploy it for all API users tomorrow.

Identified - Our testing has progressed well and have pushed a number of updates live. We are continuing to work on the issue.

Investigating - We are investigating a series of locks on iCloud accounts subsequent to access of their backup data. The locks occurred morning of 21st July.

Services for real-time iCloud data and iTunes backup data via the API are unaffected.

Monitoring - Apple made a change yesterday which is making access to backup data on 2FA-protected accounts a lot more complex. Access to real-time iCloud data (with or without 2FA), iCloud backup data without 2FA, and access to data via our iTunes-over-WiFI are unaffected. We're working with clients directly on the next steps here.
